2010 Oxy Invitational information & SchedulePublished by
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2010 edition of the Oxy Invitational to be held on Saturday, May 8. The meet is intended primarily as an opportunity to qualify for the National Championships. Due to the size of the meet last year, entry standards have been implemented and will be strictly enforced. Facility: Track & jumps runways are Rekortan. Javelin will be thrown from grass on the Lower Soccer Field (upper campus) and the hammer is thrown on the Upper Soccer Field (upper campus). Rules: NCAA rules will govern the meet Entries: All entries (collegiate and individual) are to be made online at the Direct Athletics website (search for ‘Oxy Invitational’ in Direct Athletics to find the meet). If you do not already have a Direct Athletics account please click here and follow the instructions. College and University Coaches please select the link for a team account and individual and club athletes please select the link for an athlete account. COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY ENTRY Payment for college/university entries only may be brought to the track on meet day. INDIVIDUAL / CLUB ENTRY Entrants for clubs or individuals must register and pay in advance by credit card by entering as a club or as individuals through Direct Athletics. Entry Fees: $15 per event/per person and $15 per relay. In addition, no fax entries will be accepted for open athletes. College/University coaches please make checks payable to: "Occidental Track & Field". Entry Deadline: Tuesday, May 4th by 5:00 PM. Absolutely no entries will be accepted after this time! Section Assignments: Will be posted on the web on Thursday, May 6th. Time Schedule: Subject to change based on meet entries.
